Robin Kane leads program implementation for the group’s school- and center-based initiatives. A former early childhood educator and director, Robin founded a child development center in 1991, where she taught children and mentored teachers for over 23 years, and remains an active member of that community today. Robin is also a member of the Massachusetts early education community, and provides professional development training and coaching to novice and experienced early educators. Most recently, projects in her portfolio include the development of literacy curricula and interventions for an inner city district, and the design and implementation of innovative professional development programs and materials for early educators. With her colleagues, Kane has authored several publications, including a set of widely circulated policy briefs written for leaders dedicated to promoting children’s learning and development through high-quality early education. She earned her B.A. from Lesley University.
